The good Match – Santa Claus Overtime

On 2 December in the High School Complex gym in Bytów took place the 7^th edition of the ‘Good Match’. The sport emotions were combined with a noble cause – helping ill children. Drutex again was actively involved in running this charity event.

The idea of the ‘Good Match’ in Bytów originated a few years ago. It was initiated by the Police Department, Drutex and the Women Association for Women and Family in Bytów. In Juni 2015 the first event of such kind was organized at the Bytów stadium. The main goal, apart from promotion of football and active leisure, has been the wish to help children in need.

- Drutex, as a socially responsible company, has been actively involved in numerous CSR initiatives. The Good Match has been an inherent part of our agenda. The success is confirmed by the fact that each edition is very popular with the inhabitants of Bytów area, as well as the ability to help ill children together. This is the biggest success of the Good Matches – said Adam Leik, Drutex marketing director.

On Zondag afternoon, apart from the match of Bytovia Bytów seniors and Bytów Friends, what  stirred emotions was the games of the 6-year old footballers from football schools in the area. Apart from that, in the Bytów HSC gym karate athletes and  students from the Top Toys dance school showed their skills. During breaks between matches and shows took place numerous auctions of items offered by Bytów companies and institutions. Due to the coming Santa Claus Day – he couldn’t miss the event.

Volgende edition of the ‘Good Match’ will take place in spring next year. We hope to see you!
