Drutex supports the Jakub Błaszczykowski football tournament.

Drutex yet again has been the partner of the SUMMER KUBA CUP tournament. This annual event for youth football teams was organized by the ‘Human Gesture’ Foundation by Jakub Błaszczykowski. The aim was to support amateur football teams.  The SUMMER KUBA CUP 2019 was organized for the 5^th time between 1 and 2 Juli in Opole. The winning team was from Warsaw.

- We have supported  initiatives of the Kuba Błaszczykowski Foundation numerous times. We identify with the values that Kuba wants to convey to children through healthy competition and fun activities. We are sure that it’s money well spent, allowing children to have great fun while developing their passion - said Adam Leik, marketing director at Drutex. We couldn’t miss this year edition of the tournament – he added.

The SUMMER KUBA CUP has been organized since 2015. It kenmerken boy and girl amateur football teams from primary schools. Almost 250 children from 32 teams participated in this year tournament, competing in the Champion’s League. The pitch was a stage for children born between 2006-2007, qualified to the competition on ‘first come – first served’ basis. The teams consisting of 7 players each scored 876 goals altogether. The participants enjoyed various attractions and had great fun. The winner of the Summer Kuba Cup was a Warsaw team.

Drutex was the main sponsor of the event. It was organized under the honorary patronage of Opole Town Hall, Jakub Błaszczykowski, Jerzy Brzęczek and the Chaplain of Opole Sportspeople – priest Jerzy Kostorz.
