DRUTEX announced that the company has purchased the land from the
Agricultural Property Agency for further investments. The company in a
free auction acquired 21.3 acres of land for the amount of 6.853 million zł.
Thanks to this investment DRUTEX is able to implement its plans
regarding the construction of the European Centre for the windows and
doors with headquater in Bytów.
On 15th of February DRUTEX acquired over 21 acres of land located
between Bytow and Dabie, which the company intends to spend on new
investments associated with the growth of the potential of the company.
The company plans to develop the previous production of joinery and
custom profiles GL system as well as double glazing. Therefore, the
company plans to purchase new machinery and equipment for the production
of joinery and further develop its own research laboratory of PVC
joinery, which will allow even greater surveillance and control of
manufacturing processes.
With the new production warehouses DRUTEX plans to increase the
production capacity. Plans call for increased production capacity by a
minimum of 100%. Currently, the company already produces approx. 5.000
windows daily, making it the largest producer in Europe. In 2011, the
company recorded another record-breaking results. 20-percent increase in
revenue compared to 2010 speaks well for the company's financial
condition. At the end of 2011 the company recorded 385 million zl in
sales revenues.
Lands acquired by the company are the first steps on the investment map
of the company. DRUTEX is also interested in the land on the other side
of the provincial road. 17-acre area, which will be put up for auction
in April is to be the next step in the development of the company and
shall also be allocated for the construction of the European Centre of
woodwork. In this area, in turn, DRUTEX would create a modern transport
and logistics base, providing more efficient order fulfillment
processes. Already DRUTEX stands out for effective management of the
logistics by offering the shortest delivery times on the market.
Estimated value of the entire investment is estimated at around 200
million zl. The development strategy of the company and the construction
itself will be connected with an increase in employment of at least
1,000 people (at the end of 2011 employment stood at 1560 persons),
allowing the company to contribute to lowering unemployment in the
region.
“Acquisition of 21 acres of land adjacent to the company represents
another milestone in the history of the company, as it gives us the
possibility for further growth of our potential and use of existing
market opportunities at home and abroad. Incorrigible optimism makes me
believe that this year the result of our work will be seen as new
production facilities, which will enable us to strengthen our leading
position in the joinery industry and further penetration of markets in
which we operate today as well as expansion into new markets, which
previously , due to limited production capacity, we could not enter with
full vigor .. Area, which we have bought creates great opportunities for
development and will certainly affect the dynamics of the whole company,
but also the quality of our products and the scope of the offer. "- said
